Junior Digital Design Engineer

About the role

Join the RF-SoC Solutions team in Nijmegen to work on advanced RF and mixed‑signal SoC designs for automotive and industrial markets. As a recent graduate you will gain hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge semiconductor technologies alongside experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of digital hardware designs for integrated circuits.
• Assist with RTL coding, simulation, synthesis and basic timing analysis under guidance.
• Identify, debug and resolve design issues throughout the development cycle.
• Collaborate with verification, architecture and physical design teams to meet project requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications and activity reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or graduating soon) in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field.
• Academic or project experience in digital design, computer architecture, logic design or FPGA development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Effective communication in English and ability to work in a cross‑functional team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hardware description languages such as Verilog, SystemVerilog or VHDL.
• Experience with digital design tools for simulation, synthesis and FPGA implementation.
