Junior Manufacturing Technician

About the role

Novartis is looking for a Junior Manufacturing Technician to join its radiopharmaceutical production site in Baarle‑Nassau. You will work on the manufacturing of high‑quality pharmaceutical products, following strict SOPs, work instructions and batch records.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute production processes, operating equipment and performing manual tasks.
• Carry out chemical steps such as electrolysis and chromatography.
• Clean and maintain production lines and equipment.
• Identify and escalate unexpected incidents to the shift lead.
• Perform first‑line troubleshooting and remediate failures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date training records and comply with shift work schedules.

Required profile

• MBO level 4 (e.g., process operator or lab technician) in pharma, chemistry, laboratory or food industry.
• Knowledge of a pharmaceutical or controlled production environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work shifts, including a future five‑shift model.
