Lead Paid Social Strategist

About the role

DEPT® is looking for a Lead Paid Social to head the paid social offering for its clients. You will work within the Creative & Media team in Amsterdam/Rotterdam, combining storytelling, technology and data to deliver ROI‑driven campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑term paid social strategies and tactical plans for existing clients and new pitches.
• Act as a strategic partner, providing consultative advice and insights.
• Oversee reporting, identify opportunities, and recommend measurement solutions.
• Manage briefs, deliver data‑driven presentations and support account planners.
• Ensure high‑quality delivery, constant innovation, and budget management.
• Assess technology, processes and data tools to improve capabilities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in paid social media roles.
• Proven track record managing complex campaigns and measurement solutions (tracking, attribution, lift studies).
• Strong understanding of digital media across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and other platforms.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with ads platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical mindset.
• Familiarity with third‑party measurement tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe and DCM.
• Dutch and English language proficiency.
