Lecturer of Logistics (0.6-0.8 FTE)

About the role

As a Lecturer of Logistics (0.6-0.8 FTE) at the Academy for Built Environment & Logistics (ABEL), you will guide bachelor students in Logistics Management and Logistics Engineering. You will help shape the curriculum, bring industry insights into the classroom, and support students through projects, placements, and theses.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver interactive teaching sessions for logistics‑related bachelor programmes.
• Continuously develop and innovate curriculum content in supply chain, transport, warehousing, inventory and production logistics.
• Facilitate collaborative learning by linking students, industry partners and real‑world challenges.
• Supervise and coach students on projects, internships and bachelor theses.
• Contribute to the academic community within a team‑based teaching environment.

Required profile

• Relevant academic background in logistics, supply chain management or a closely related field.
• Experience in higher education or professional training, preferably with a focus on applied logistics.
• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a tight‑knit team and engage industry partners.

Required skills

• Knowledge of supply chain, transport, warehousing, inventory and production logistics concepts.

What we offer

• Monthly salary between €4,632.17 and €6,677.44 (gross, full‑time equivalent) on scale 11 of the cao‑hbo.
• One‑year fixed‑term contract with potential conversion to a permanent position.
