Legal & Compliance Intern

About the role

D2X is seeking a motivated Legal & Compliance Intern to support its regulated crypto derivatives exchange. You will gain hands‑on experience in client onboarding, contract management and regulatory implementation while working in a fast‑moving digital‑assets environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding and review of client (Member) information, including periodic checks and risk assessments.
• Draft and review contracts, engagement letters, and other legal documents.
• Maintain corporate‑governance files and manage contract lifecycle.
• Support implementation of new regulations such as market conduct rules.
• Participate in additional legal and compliance projects based on internship timing and personal interests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Dutch.
• Previous internship or paralegal experience is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, pragmatic, eager to learn, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and a strong interest in cryptocurrency and digital assets.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands and available 40 hours per week.
