Manager Operational Due Diligence and Value Creation

About the role

Join PwC’s Delivering Deal Value team in Amsterdam and play a pivotal role in high‑profile M&A transactions for leading private equity and corporate clients. You will combine operational insight with data‑driven analysis to shape deal outcomes and create tangible value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑ and post‑deal engagements, assessing operational value opportunities and risks.
• Conduct operational due diligence, carve‑out due diligence, and pre‑deal value creation analyses.
• Identify operational gaps, develop implementation plans and quantify savings using driver‑based approaches and industry benchmarking.
• Drive transformation initiatives focused on short‑ and long‑term value realization.
• Coach and lead junior and senior colleagues throughout engagements.
• Manage client relationships at both executive and operational levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in deals consulting, operational performance improvement, corporate M&A, COO support or specialized operations consulting.
• University degree in business administration, science, engineering or a related discipline.
• Understanding of core operational functions such as Finance, Supply Chain, Working Capital, Procurement or Sales.
• Comfortable working with financial information and translating analysis into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
