Manager – Tax Compliance, Reporting & Strategy

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager to lead Tax Compliance, Reporting & Strategy for clients in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. You will advise multinational companies on tax compliance, design efficient tax processes and introduce innovative technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and support clients in optimizing and automating tax and financial processes.
• Review complex tax returns and verify tax positions in financial statements (Dutch GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP).
• Provide guidance on tax accounting issues and corporate income tax filings.
• Utilise data‑extraction and tax‑compliance software to meet reporting obligations such as Country‑by‑Country reporting.
• Maintain client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
• Lead and develop junior team members, ensuring high‑quality client service.

Required profile

• Ambitious tax specialist with solid experience in tax compliance and reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset and curiosity for new technological solutions.
• Team player capable of guiding and mentoring less‑experienced colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax compliance software.
• Experience using data extraction tools.
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP.
• Expertise in corporate income tax return preparation.
• Familiarity with Country‑by‑Country reporting requirements.
