Manufacturing Supervisor

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a small operations team in Leiden. You will be responsible for meeting production targets while maintaining a safe, GMP‑compliant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations to achieve production goals and ensure quality standards.
• Coach, develop and manage team performance, aligning staffing and training with operational needs.
• Enforce SOPs, GMP, company policies and the Code of Business Conduct to maintain a safe workplace.
• Drive continuous improvement using LEAN principles, root‑cause analysis and practical process enhancements.
• Conduct Gemba walks, spot checks and maintain clear documentation and visual controls.

Required profile

• Relevant MBO‑4 degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience (or 7 years with a non‑relevant degree).
• Minimum 3 years of people‑leader experience.
• Dutch language level A2 and English level B2.
• Intermediate MS Office skills and entry‑level data analysis proficiency.
