Marketing Internship – Consumer Carpets

About the role

Social media is becoming increasingly important for connecting with customers. Desso is looking for a motivated intern to develop and execute the social media strategy for its Consumer Carpet line and help strengthen the brand’s online presence and conversion rates. The internship is based in Waalwijk, the Netherlands, and lasts for six months to a year.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for Consumer Carpets.
• Strengthen online presence and improve conversion through targeted campaigns.
• Support the marketing team in extending and professionalising multimedia brand communication.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a relevant HBO study, preferably in online communication or social media.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
• Accurate, able to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, positive ‘can‑do’ attitude.

What we offer

• Half‑year or full‑year internship starting in September 2013.
• Monthly allowance of €500.
• Travel expense compensation for distances over 10 km.
