Millwright / Maintenance Technician – Netherlands Placement

About the role

Join a well‑established production operation in the Netherlands as a Millwright / Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for keeping critical line equipment running smoothly while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative and reactive maintenance on production line machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults on industrial equipment.
• Maintain and service hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Carry out mechanical fitting and turning, including stainless‑steel and aluminium welding.
• Ensure all work complies with health‑safety standards and production protocols.
• Monitor performance and diagnose faults using tools, sensors and Siemens PLC systems.
• Collaborate with production and technical teams to minimise downtime.
• Participate in shift work and be available for overtime as required.

Required profile

• Red Seal certification or N5/N6 in Mechanical/Electrical fields.
• Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in a production or industrial environment (e.g., agriculture, food, mining).
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with a valid passport and driver’s licence.
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands and work shifts.
