About the role
The NCE Funding Expert manages grant applications and funded projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance, competitiveness and successful delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Define application strategy, coordinate project teams and meet deadlines for EU and national grant submissions.
- Maintain communication with funding authorities, negotiate amendments and ensure project compliance throughout the grant lifecycle.
- Monitor state aid programs, identify funding opportunities and support country‑level investment planning.
- Prepare and report on project progress, deliverables, milestones and GHG savings.
Required profile
- Technical master’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years experience in EU funding and grant management.
- Fluent English communication; additional languages a plus.
Required skills
- Strong understanding of the EU grant landscape.
- Familiarity with EU grant submission portals and national grant processes.
- Broad knowledge of project finance, market, technology, policy and GHG considerations.
