New Products Manager – Value & Patient Access

About the role

Join MSD’s New Products team in Haarlem to shape early market and patient‑access strategies for upcoming therapies. You will act as the bridge between Medical, Marketing, Patient Access and other functions, turning market insights into actionable launch plans that ensure timely, broad access for patients in the Netherlands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams to develop and execute early market, patient‑access and launch strategies for pipeline products.
• Assess and prioritize opportunities based on patient need, market dynamics, competitive landscape and strategic fit.
• Translate global strategies into locally relevant evidence plans, pricing and reimbursement actions.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, policy makers, reimbursement bodies and other external partners.
• Monitor therapeutic‑area developments and translate them into strategic recommendations.
• Coordinate forecasting, market research, planning deliverables and governance processes across the portfolio.
• Drive integrated pre‑launch planning and ensure smooth transition to launch execution.
• Represent the Dutch market in regional and global new‑product teams, providing local insights and evidence considerations.

Required profile

• University degree in medicine, pharmacy, life‑sciences or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with proven reimbursement strategy expertise.
• Deep knowledge of the Dutch health‑care system, reimbursement, pricing and marketing principles.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Experience working with medical and marketing functions is preferred.
