Payroll, Time & Attendance Professional

About the role

As a Payroll, Time & Attendance Professional at APM Terminals, you will support end‑to‑end payroll operations, ensure compliance with local regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre‑payroll, on‑cycle and off‑cycle payroll activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Extract, validate and provide Time & Attendance data to payroll providers.
• Perform quality checks, approve final payroll outputs and support annual reconciliation.
• Ensure timely social insurance tax payments and reporting in line with local requirements.
• Track vendor performance against service level agreements and support audit activities.
• Participate in Time & Attendance projects, system upgrades and change communications.
• Partner with People Partners to resolve employee and manager payroll queries.

Required profile

• Continuous improvement mindset with curiosity about work processes.
• Experience with payroll and Time & Attendance processes and local compliance.
• Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ADP payroll system (advantage).
• Advanced Excel skills for data reporting and validation.
