Planner Site Engineering

About the role

Join the Site Engineering department at MSD in Boxmeer as a Planner Site Engineering. You will develop, maintain and optimise project and resource plans, providing visibility on capacity, utilisation and project progress for a portfolio of around 200 annual projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate resource planning for all Site Engineering projects and provide transparency on departmental capacity.
• Support project managers in developing, maintaining and optimising project schedules throughout the lifecycle.
• Analyse capacity challenges, project dependencies and resource conflicts, proposing solutions with stakeholders.
• Provide weekly reporting on resource planning, utilisation and project status to management.
• Monitor, track and report KPIs related to planning, capacity management and project progress.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for planning methodologies, resource planning and tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Participate in regular meetings with SPOCs, project managers and other stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and contribute to professionalisation of project and resource planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in a technical, logistics or business‑related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a planner in a project‑driven organisation, preferably in pharma, biotech, food or process industries.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Knowledge of Lean methodologies; Yellow or Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
