Principal Value Engineer – AI & Data Transformation

About the role

The Value Engineering team partners with Fortune‑500 customers to drive AI‑enabled business transformations, and the Principal Value Engineer leads these strategic engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a visionary trusted advisor, defining how Celonis underpins the customer’s global AI strategy and delivering hundred‑million‑dollar value realization targets.
• Mobilize C‑suite sponsorship, align fragmented silos, and design global change‑management and Center‑of‑Excellence strategies.
• Steer multi‑year, global mega‑transformations, pioneering AI‑driven orchestration models for account planning and governance.
• Direct Applied Value Engineers, Data Scientists and Product Managers to build customized enterprise solutions on the Celonis Platform.
• Shape the product roadmap by communicating macro‑industry trends to Product & Engineering leadership.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in management consulting, value engineering or enterprise strategy at a senior, strategic level.
• Deep understanding of global IT architectures, SaaS ecosystems and AI‑enabled operations.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑year, multi‑regional programs and influence C‑level executives.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics or an MBA.
