Proposal Engineer – Modular Ships

About the role

We are looking for a precise Proposal Engineer to support product managers and the internal sales organisation at Damen Civil & Modular Constructions. The role involves turning client ideas into feasible concepts, performing initial feasibility checks, and delivering price and specification packages ready for contract negotiation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of new sales opportunities.
• Ensure product compliance with maritime law and regulations.
• Deliver accurate cost prices for our modular ship products.
• Assist in managing the product portfolio.

Required profile

• 5+ years of cost‑estimation experience in a maritime or technical environment.
• Higher professional education or a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or maritime field.
• Strong command of English and Dutch, both written and verbal.
