About the role
We are looking for a precise Proposal Engineer Steel to support product managers and the internal sales organisation. You will turn client ideas into feasible, priced specifications ready for contract, collaborating across engineering, production and quality teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development of new sales opportunities.
- Ensure product compliance with maritime law and regulations.
- Deliver accurate cost prices for steel products.
- Assist in managing the product portfolio.
Required profile
- 5+ years of cost estimation experience in a maritime or technical environment.
- Experience with pontoons, Salesforce and proposal preparation (preferred).
- Familiarity with concept design tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino or SolidWorks.
- Higher professional education or Bachelor degree in a technical or maritime field.
- Strong command of English and Dutch, both written and verbal.
