Sales Manager – Benelux (Netherlands focus)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to join our Sales Benelux team. The role focuses on the Netherlands, with potential expansion to Belgium and Luxembourg, and involves managing local sales activities and turnover across the assigned countries.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop market opportunities through client acquisition, visits, trade fairs and other marketing activities.
• Build, maintain and expand strong relationships with customers, brokers/agents and key stakeholders.
• Lead the end‑to‑end sales process: generate enquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate terms and close contracts.
• Coordinate with internal teams, share market intelligence and represent the sales area within the organisation.
• Oversee new‑build orders from contract to delivery, including production monitoring and vessel hand‑overs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Offshore Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in a commercial and/or technical role, preferably in the capital goods industry.
• Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to build trust and manage long‑term customer relationships.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, full‑time availability and willingness to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Salesforce (CRM) usage.
• Knowledge of shipbuilding processes.
