Senior AI Platform Engineer

About the role

As a Senior AI Platform Engineer you will create the core infrastructure that lets Aquablu’s product teams move from idea to live feature in days instead of weeks. You will own the platform that powers prototyping, continuous delivery, automated testing and AI‑driven workflows, ensuring speed, safety and reliability for every ship.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the prototyping sandbox that lets product teams test ideas within hours.
• Design, own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, repeatable and safe deployments.
• Develop automated testing and quality‑gate infrastructure, including AI‑generated test suites and evaluation harnesses.
• Provide the runtime environment for AI agents and automated workflows, handling orchestration, versioning, cost and monitoring.
• Establish observability, reliability and guard‑rail tooling so engineers can trust production behavior.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on engineering experience delivering production platforms.
• Proven senior‑level ownership of end‑to‑end systems, making decisions in ambiguous or high‑stakes situations.
• Experience building or operating LLM‑based or agentic AI systems in production.
• Comfort working daily with AI assistants and integrating them into development pipelines.
