Senior Consultant Operational Due Diligence & Value Creation

About the role

Join PwC's Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team in Amsterdam as a Senior Consultant focused on operational due diligence and value creation. You will work with private equity and corporate clients on high‑impact M&A projects, helping to identify operational improvements that directly influence deal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify operational gaps in target businesses and propose actionable value‑creation recommendations.
• Develop implementation plans and quantify savings using driver‑based models and industry benchmarking.
• Lead transformation initiatives that deliver short‑ and long‑term operational upside.
• Manage relationships with client executives and operational teams throughout pre‑ and post‑deal phases.
• Contribute to core services including Operational Due Diligence, Pre‑deal Value Creation, and Carve‑out support.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in deals consulting, operational performance improvement, corporate M&A, COO support, or specialized operations consulting.
• University degree in Business Administration, Science, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of one or more core operational functions such as Finance, Supply Chain, Working Capital, Procurement or Sales.
• Comfortable interpreting and working with financial information.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); professional level Dutch is a plus.
