Senior Consultant Technology Deals (M&A)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join PwC’s Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team in Amsterdam, focusing on the technology side of M&A transactions. You will work with corporate and private‑equity clients, providing IT‑focused due diligence, integration and value‑creation advice while interacting directly with C‑level stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify technology and innovation capabilities (digital platforms, automation, AI, robotics, cloud adoption) that support clients’ growth strategies.
• Conduct IT due diligence, highlighting opportunities, risks and potential cost‑saving synergies.
• Participate in technology‑focused M&A project teams covering due diligence, carve‑outs, integration and synergy assessments.
• Create value‑creation opportunities driven by IT and digitally enabled performance improvements.
• Communicate findings and advise C‑level executives (CEO, CFO, CIO, M&A leads) with support from senior colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, either at an IT consulting firm, a Big 4 firm, or in a corporate IT strategy/ transformation role.
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong commercial mindset combined with excellent communication and reporting skills, preferably from client‑facing roles.
• Ability to work in an inclusive, international team and engage directly with senior stakeholders.
