Senior Deep Learning Research Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Deep Learning Research Engineer to develop state‑of‑the‑art AI products for camera devices. You will work on improving training algorithms, integrating multimodal LLMs, and building data pipelines that power features shipped to millions of devices.

Key responsibilities

• Combine Tiny AI with multimodal LLMs to create new on‑device AI features.
• Design and train highly accurate computer‑vision models, keeping memory footprints as low as 1 MB.
• Improve data pipelines, model architectures and training software, often inventing novel approaches.
• Deploy training jobs on Kubernetes, use Snowflake and Dataflow for dataset creation, prototype demos with Streamlit, and run large‑scale GPU training on GCP.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python.
• Proficiency with deep‑learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras or JAX.
• Strong background in computer vision and multimodal large language models.
• Experience taking trained neural networks into production.
