Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps or Platform Engineer to build, deploy and maintain reliable, enterprise‑scale infrastructure that powers our fraud‑prevention platform. You will work in a fast‑growing cybersecurity scale‑up, bridging development and operations to enable secure, scalable cloud‑native services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Argo CD, applying GitOps principles.
• Manage AWS cloud environments (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC) and ensure infrastructure stability through proactive maintenance.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and helm‑based Kubernetes deployments.
• Implement observability, monitoring and logging using Grafana, Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch, Elasticsearch and OpenSearch.
• Support API deployments, AI/ML workloads and event‑driven architectures with Apache Kafka.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, security scans and compliance checks, and participate in on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• Analytical skills – ability to analyse customer requirements and conduct structured root‑cause analysis.
• Attention to detail – precise building and maintenance of systems with clear documentation.
• Collaboration and communication – effective work with cross‑functional teams and clear articulation of technical solutions.
• Information‑security mindset – proactive attitude towards security, business continuity and privacy.

Required skills

• Extensive hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC).
• Design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Argo CD.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Kubernetes deployment management with Helm.
• Observability using Grafana, Prometheus and AWS CloudWatch.
• Log management with Elasticsearch and OpenSearch.
• Event‑driven architectures with Apache Kafka.
• Programming in Java, Python and Go.
• Strong IAM and cloud security best practices.

• 12‑month fixed‑term contract (potentially permanent) with a salary of €80‑110 k per year.
