Senior Digital Account Manager

About the role

This position sits within DEPT®'s Experience & Engineering team in the Netherlands, combining technical solution development with beautiful design to create engaging digital experiences. As a Senior Digital Account Manager you will own and nurture client relationships, act as the internal advocate for client needs, and drive revenue‑focused proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of client needs and business objectives, prioritising and managing expectations across all digital projects.
• Maintain flawless client service by building strong relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Ensure effective internal communication to deliver quality outcomes and client satisfaction, acting as the liaison between clients and internal teams.
• Research and pursue growth opportunities for existing clients.
• Proactively resolve issues, maintaining transparency and trust.
• Prepare regular progress reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
• Orchestrate the organisation around client challenges and opportunities.

Required profile

• Several years of experience managing global digital experience and technology accounts with seven‑figure budgets; experience with global clients is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead international, cross‑functional internal teams.
• Data‑driven mindset, building strategies based on insights and analysis.
• Strong understanding of digital industry dynamics and product delivery processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organisational levels.
• Knowledge of commercial dynamics within a digital agency.
• Ability to connect the dots across channels and touchpoints.
• High work ethic, supportive attitude, and commitment to delivering results.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
