Senior Product Manager – Lakeflow (Data Orchestration)

About the role

As a Product Manager on the Lakeflow Jobs team, you will shape the future of data‑aware orchestration on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. Jobs is Databricks’ built‑in orchestrator that runs hundreds of millions of workloads each week with 99.95% reliability, powering ETL, AI/ML, BI and streaming for thousands of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define strategy and roadmap for orchestration, triggers, authoring, and observability.
• Drive success metrics for adoption, engagement, and developer efficiency, using data to guide decisions.
• Partner with global engineering, field teams, solution architects, and external partners to deliver impactful features.
• Engage with hundreds of customers to understand journeys and advocate for friction‑reducing capabilities.
• Own the product lifecycle: write PRDs, release notes, documentation, and lead launches.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in product management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience with inbound, outbound, and cross‑functional product processes.
• Solid understanding of major orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
• Technical knowledge of data pipelines including Spark, dbt, and Lakeflow Pipelines.
• Strong data analysis and operationalization skills using SQL and Python.
