Senior Social Designer & Content Creator

About the role

Rituals is looking for a Senior Social Designer & Content Creator to join its Content & Design Studio. You will create social-first content that brings the Rituals brand to life in fresh, relevant and culturally connected ways, working within the Social Creative Team alongside Social Marketing, fellow creatives and cross-functional partners. The role is senior and hands-on, with roughly half the focus on graphic design, complemented by short-form video editing, iPhone content capturing and basic motion design.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging, platform-native organic social content across static posts, carousels, Reels and short-form video, with Instagram as the primary focus and TikTok as an important secondary channel.
• Turn campaign assets, pack shots and existing brand materials into fresh social executions through graphic design, video editing and basic motion techniques.
• Capture and edit agile social content on iPhone, responding to trends, cultural moments and fast-turnaround opportunities while protecting the brand identity.
• Apply creative judgement to typography, composition, pacing, imagery, sound and visual storytelling, and experiment with new formats and platform behaviours.
• Work closely with Social Marketing and the wider studio, explain creative choices, manage feedback constructively and help improve creative ideas and ways of working.

The work is split roughly 80% planned content for the social calendar and 20% ad hoc, fast-turnaround content. Time allocation is about 50% graphic design, 20% video editing, 20% iPhone content capture and 10% basic motion design.
