Senior Software Engineer

About the role

TOPIC is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in C++, C and Python to lead the design, implementation and verification of software components for high‑tech projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and verify new subsystems, modules and components across driver control, algorithms, UI and HMI.
• Write efficient, maintainable code in C++, C and Python.
• Explore innovative solution approaches and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in an international, multidisciplinary, agile environment.
• Review code and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or related field.
• At least 5 years of software development experience in high‑tech domain.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, UML, unit testing, Agile and design principles.
• Team player, solution‑oriented and proactive.
• Good command of English, Dutch preferred.
