Senior Software Engineer – Typescript FrontEnd (AI/ML)

About the role

The AI/ML Engineering team at ClickHouse builds end‑to‑end AI and machine‑learning products, including the Agentic Data Stack, AI Functions, chDB, and the in‑Console copilot. You will design, develop, and operate AI‑powered features that make ClickHouse the platform of choice for agents and data scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI‑powered features across the full stack, from backend inference services to intuitive frontend interfaces.
• Create robust, scalable APIs that connect ClickHouse’s database capabilities with modern AI/ML inference systems.
• Integrate and maintain connections with the broader AI/ML ecosystem, ensuring seamless operation with popular frameworks and tools.
• Deploy models into production with proper monitoring, versioning, observability, and evaluation.
• Participate in daytime on‑call rotation and build responsive UI/UX for complex AI functionalities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong ownership mindset, able to drive features from concept to production with minimal supervision.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
