Service Specialist Industrial Refrigeration

About the role

We are looking for a Service Specialist in Industrial Refrigeration to join our client, a leading industrial refrigeration and climate‑technology company in the Netherlands. You will be the on‑site technical expert, responsible for commissioning, maintaining and troubleshooting complex cooling installations across food, chemical, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Commission new industrial refrigeration, freezer and air‑handling systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on existing installations.
• Diagnose and independently resolve complex electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carry out technical inspections and measurements, including pressure, temperature and leak detection.
• Prepare accurate service documentation and technical reports.
• Provide reliable, safe and efficient refrigeration solutions to customers.
• Collaborate with fellow service engineers and technical specialists to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Refrigeration Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial refrigeration or freezer installations.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with industrial Ammonia (NH₃) refrigeration systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a valid driving licence.
