Site Engineer – Data Centre

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a high‑profile hyperscale data‑centre project in Groningen. You will work alongside a leading main contractor and an internationally recognised subcontractor delivering civil and groundwork packages.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate setting‑out and surveying for groundworks, drainage, foundations and reinforced concrete.
• Review drawings and coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and management to ensure smooth delivery.
• Support bulk excavation, drainage systems, utilities and sub‑structure works while meeting quality and programme targets.
• Manage QA processes, including inspections, RFIs, ITPs and maintain as‑built records.
• Identify and resolve technical and constructability issues in collaboration with Site and Project Managers.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years experience as a Site Engineer or Setting‑Out Engineer, preferably on groundworks, civils or data‑centre projects.
• Right to work in the Netherlands.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with setting‑out equipment and surveying on civil/groundworks packages.

What we offer

• Salary €85,000 – €90,000 per annum
