Solution Developer Internship – AI & Low‑Code Projects

About the role

Damen Shipyards Group is looking for a motivated intern to join its AI team in Gorinchem. You will work on applied AI projects, building low‑code prototypes that address real business challenges across the shipyard.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to identify and scope high‑value AI use cases.
• Rapidly prototype automation agents, workflows and low‑code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio and Azure.
• Develop and iterate on Copilot agents, Power Automate flows and related tools.
• Document technical designs, prototype outcomes and hand over validated solutions to production teams.
• Present prototypes and findings to stakeholders and benchmark the low‑code AI approach against industry best practices.

Required profile

• Master’s or advanced Bachelor student in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Management or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience or strong interest in low‑code development platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform or Copilot Studio.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex).
• Ability to write basic scripts in Python or JavaScript.
• Strong analytical thinking and fluent English.
