Solutions Architect – Customer Lake (Data & AI)

About the role

The Customer Lake Solutions Architect joins Databricks' global go‑to‑market team to drive adoption of the native Customer Data Platform. You will work with marketing, data engineering and analytics leaders to design and implement real‑time, governed customer data solutions that power personalized experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for strategic customers, covering architecture, data engineering, identity resolution, audience activation and agent deployment.
• Collaborate with GTM and account teams to design high‑impact engagement strategies, guiding customers from initial Customer 360 build‑out to full CDP adoption.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CMOs, MarTech heads and data leaders, delivering workshops, proofs‑of‑concept and technical collateral.
• Serve as the tier‑3 escalation point for complex technical challenges, ensuring mission‑critical success in customer‑facing data environments.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in customer data platforms, MarTech or customer data engineering, with at least 3 years in a client‑facing pre‑sales or consulting role.
• Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience designing and delivering CDP, identity resolution, segmentation and personalization solutions.
