S&OP Manager Europe

About the role

The S&OP Manager Europe will lead a critical business process across Balchem's European operations, coordinating Commercial, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Quality, and Product Management. You will drive operational excellence, support growth, and influence decisions that impact customer service, inventory performance, and manufacturing efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the European S&OP process, aligning commercial plans with operational capabilities.
• Drive demand, supply, inventory, and capacity planning across the European manufacturing network.
• Facilitate cross‑functional planning reviews and support executive decision‑making.
• Develop forecasting, reporting, and planning processes to improve visibility and business outcomes.
• Lead inventory strategies balancing customer service, efficiency, and working capital.
• Monitor supply chain performance, mitigate risks, and improve service levels.
• Coach, develop, and lead a team of Supply Chain Planners.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning excellence and supply chain efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in S&OP, supply chain planning, or integrated business planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional planning processes and manage planning teams.
• Strong analytical capabilities and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience interpreting market trends, customer dynamics, and commercial strategies.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex international matrix environment and willingness to travel.
