Staff Product Manager

About the role

You will be the Product Manager for the Databricks Runtime team in Amsterdam. The team works at the intersection of query processing, storage, infrastructure and data governance, all key components of the Databricks data intelligence platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end product management process, from vision through implementation and post‑launch coordination.
• Gather customer requirements, design features, and collaborate closely with engineering to deliver a polished, market‑ready product.
• Drive product launches together with product marketing, including blog posts, release notes, and webinars.
• Define and measure OKRs for your products to track success and impact.
• Prioritize and develop features that measurably reduce the cost and time required for operating ETL and machine‑learning workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of relevant experience in product management or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing inbound and outbound product processes and working cross‑functionally across teams.
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand modern cloud infrastructure and data‑governance solutions.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Advanced data‑analysis and operationalization skills, including SQL, roll‑ups, and building operational dashboards.
