Technical Product Owner – Hybrid (Amsterdam/Rotterdam)

About the role

This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in the Netherlands. We combine our skills in developing future‑ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences for clients such as Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com and Just Eat Takeaway.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, documentation and understanding of the project scope, objectives and technical feasibility involving all relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and implement digital projects.
• Define and document client business functions and processes while identifying improvement opportunities.
• Identify common sources of technical issues, report them and recommend solutions to product teams.
• Monitor systems, discover issues and deliver greater value to customers.
• Define or clarify requirements and write/update agile stories.
• Support backlog preparation and prioritisation.
• Participate in test case definition and user acceptance testing together with QA teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience, preferably in a digital agency or client‑facing environment.
• Passionate about digital with strong communication and business writing skills.
• Advanced knowledge of project management and agile methodologies.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders, from executives to creatives, engineers, managers, SMEs and vendors.
• Excellent organiser, facilitator and collaborator.
• Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• IREB® Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering Foundation Level is a plus.
