About the role

Join the Trade Finance Operations team in Amsterdam as a Trainee Trade Service Specialist for the Benelux branch. This full‑time, onsite programme is designed for recent graduates or soon‑to‑graduate students who want to start a career in trade finance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Trade Finance Operations (TFO) team, ensuring smooth end‑to‑end processing for clients and close cooperation with all stakeholders.
• Learn the full product suite of Trade Finance and assist globally operating clients.
• Handle related documentation and process domestic and international guarantees.
• Gain insight into the customer base, translate needs into operational support, and participate in junior networking events and training measures.

Required profile

• Completed or near‑completion Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in economics, finance or a related field, or a commercial apprenticeship.
• Enjoy interacting with customers and colleagues, with a curious nature and strong organisational skills.
• Team player willing to work in an international environment.
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
• Preferably a native Dutch or German speaker, fluent in English.
