Accounts Payable Accountant

About the role

Join Fastned’s finance team to manage day‑to‑day accounts payable activities across multiple entities. You will process invoices, maintain vendor data, support month‑end close and contribute to system improvements in a fast‑growing European EV charging company.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices (PO and non‑PO) accurately and timely.
• Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
• Process daily bank statements and review the accounts payable aging report each month.
• Maintain vendor master data and organise financial records.
• Participate in process‑improvement projects and system implementations.
• Reconcile accounts payable and request refunds for credit memos or missing invoices.
• Support month‑end closing, VAT return preparation and audit documentation.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years experience in accounts payable.
• Completed training in accounting or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• High adaptability and ability to prioritise a high volume of recurring tasks.
• Proactive, collaborative and service‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is a strong plus).
• Good Excel or spreadsheet skills.
