All‑round Maintenance Technician – Relocation to Netherlands

About the role

The All‑round Maintenance Technician will ensure that mechanical and electrical installations in a large FMCG production environment operate safely, efficiently and without interruption. Based in the Netherlands, the role combines preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous‑improvement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and installations on machinery and automation lines.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Conduct inspections, optimise activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and external partners.

Required profile

• Red Seal Trade Tested or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in an industrial or production environment.
• Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience working with PLCs.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and willingness to pursue further training and certifications.
• Understanding of the Afrikaans language.
• Age between 21 and 28 years (visa restrictions).
