C++ Software Developer

About the role

Join Robin Radar’s fast‑growing Agile I&D team to develop cutting‑edge radar software. You will design, adapt and maintain the C++ code that powers our market‑leading radar products, directly contributing to safety and performance for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable C++ code following modern C++17/20 standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devise solutions, and ensure high code quality and automation.
• Collaborate with other departments on software system design, hardware interfaces and technical issues.
• Analyse requirements, plan installations or modifications, and produce documentation.
• Guide software programming efforts and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• BA/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional C++ development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux development, multithreading, real‑time environments and Qt.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, JSON, XML and low‑level hardware interaction.
• Proficiency in unit testing with GoogleTest and CI pipelines (Jenkins).
• Familiarity with version control (Bitbucket/Git), Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
