Commercial Manager – Shiprepair & Marine Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to secure and manage repair, maintenance and service assignments for floating assets within Damen Shiprepair Harbour & Voyage. You will coordinate the full commercial process from customer request through quotation, contract negotiation and order intake, ensuring fast and reliable solutions for our maritime customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial growth strategies to strengthen market position.
• Conduct market analyses to identify trends and new opportunities.
• Lead product development by expanding or improving service offerings.
• Acquire new customers, maintain existing relationships and oversee marketing campaigns.
• Prepare and manage sales and marketing budgets, report progress to management.
• Negotiate contracts with new and existing customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience, preferably in maritime, ship repair or heavy offshore sectors.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong leadership, analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
