Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre Projects

About the role

RLB is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join its Amsterdam team, working on data‑centre construction projects and a range of commercial, life‑science and industrial developments. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to contribute to high‑profile, value‑for‑money projects in a supportive, employee‑owned environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and contractual performance of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain cost plans, estimates, and post‑contract procurement duties.
• Apply and comply with established commercial, procurement and contractual strategies.
• Uphold Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality standards throughout project delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop client accounts and support project delivery.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Proven experience in Mechanical & Electrical cost management, preferably within data‑centre environments.
• Background working for a consultancy, contractor, developer or client‑side organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
