Credit Risk Officer (m/f/d)

About the role

The Credit Risk Officer will conduct independent credit risk analyses, support transaction structuring, and monitor ongoing risk for corporate clients in the Dutch market.

Key responsibilities

• Perform forward‑looking credit risk assessments, industry analysis and peer comparisons.
• Structure transactions in a risk‑adequate manner and decide on ratings, collateral and other risk mitigants.
• Take credit decisions within delegated authority and prepare high‑quality presentations for senior approval.
• Maintain sector and regional knowledge, monitor portfolio rating changes and early‑warning signals.
• Collaborate with relationship managers to gather client information and ensure compliance with covenants.
• Escalate problematic cases, recommend intensive‑care actions and ensure timely input into credit IT systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of credit experience in the Dutch market.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Dutch.
• Proven ability to conduct independent credit analyses and make risk‑based decisions.
• Experience working with front‑office teams and preparing credit documentation.
