Delivery O&M Engineer (energy product) – Contract

About the role

Huawei Europe is looking for a Delivery Operations & Maintenance Engineer specialized in energy products to join its Rijswijk site. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability of data‑center power infrastructure, battery storage systems and power‑electronic equipment on live networks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting of critical live‑network issues related to UPS, power modules, temperature control systems, battery energy storage and power‑electronic products, delivering rapid fixes and preventing recurrence.
• Participate in special maintenance activities, including deployment and preventive inspections of data‑center power supplies and battery storage solutions.
• Develop and enhance maintenance platforms and capabilities for the energy‑storage domain, raising the overall competence of the team.
• Extract, design and verify DFX and maintainability requirements for new product or solution versions.
• Design and implement digital O&M solutions (IT tools) for power‑supply and storage systems, continuously improving product maintainability.

Required profile

• Familiarity with EU environmental protection regulations, especially carbon‑emission reporting and extended producer responsibility.
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical engineering, power electronics, temperature‑control technology, automation, telecommunications, mechanical engineering and data‑center power‑supply concepts.
• Understanding of UPS technology is preferred.
