Diesel Mechanic – 2-year contract in Netherlands

About the role

We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Amsterdam on a two‑year fixed‑term contract. The role involves maintaining and repairing diesel engines for a variety of heavy‑duty equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engine repairs, overhauls and installations on earth‑moving machinery, buses and transport trucks.
• Diagnose and fix faults in engines, gearboxes and related components.
• Conduct routine maintenance and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• Completed Red Seal (or equivalent) qualification.
• Under 28 years of age to meet visa requirements.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Valid passport or in the process of obtaining one.

Required skills

• Engine repair and maintenance.
• Gearbox repair and fault diagnosis.
• Mechanical overhauls of diesel equipment.
