Direct Tax Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Direct Tax Specialist to join our EMEA Tax team in Hoofddorp. The role involves supporting direct tax compliance, accounting, reporting, audits and tax projects across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate income tax returns for EMEA jurisdictions and coordinate with external advisors.
• Assist with quarterly and annual tax provision calculations, supporting schedules for current and deferred tax.
• Support responses to tax authority inquiries, audits and maintain organized tax records.
• Participate in cross‑border tax projects, including Pillar Two, transfer pricing implementation and withholding tax optimisation.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, payroll, treasury, legal and transfer pricing teams to provide practical tax guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fiscal Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Approximately 3 years of tax experience in a Big Four, mid‑tier firm, multinational corporation or tax advisory practice.
• Strong numerical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent English; Hebrew is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP (advantage).
