Energy Project Manager – Market Delivery & Implementation

About the role

GIGA Storage is scaling its portfolio of large‑scale Battery Energy Storage Systems across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. As Energy Project Manager you will own the end‑to‑end onboarding of a battery asset once a commercial contract is signed, turning it into a revenue‑ready, market‑connected installation.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of day‑to‑day implementation from signed contract to fully operational asset.
• Coordinate internal teams (Energy Desk, Portfolio Management, Asset Management, IT, Finance, Legal) and external counterparties.
• Maintain project schedules, RACI models, risk registers and ensure actions are completed on time.
• Manage connectivity, market qualifications and operational processes required for balancing market participation.
• Define and document repeatable processes for invoicing, data validation and settlement across different partners.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in the energy sector (utility, trader, aggregator, renewable developer, etc.).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Business, Economics, Technology, Project Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of electricity fundamentals and energy markets, including balancing markets.
• Analytical, hands‑on approach with ability to break complex problems into manageable steps.
• Technical affinity to discuss systems, data and connectivity with IT and operations teams.
