External Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager

About the role

As External Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager, you play a key role in strengthening and modernizing how CM.com handles its financial processes and controls, focusing on external reporting and technical accounting. You work closely with the business, translating complex accounting rules into practical guidance, and drive AI‑driven improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Apply and implement IFRS and Dutch GAAP standards, including preparing technical accounting position papers.
• Prepare internal and external financial reports, including sustainability, remuneration reporting and quarterly press releases.
• Coordinate domestic and international audits with external auditors.
• Perform financial analysis and controls during month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Identify opportunities for AI and automation to accelerate and strengthen reporting processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accountancy or Finance; RA/CPA qualification is a plus.
• Several years of Big 4 experience and a strong background in accountancy.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with ownership and accurate work delivery.
• Professional proficiency in English and Dutch.
• Interest in automation and AI, eager to improve financial processes through technology.
