Field Services Engineer

About the role

Moog is seeking a Field Services Engineer to provide technical support for its Flight Simulation and Automotive Test products. The role involves hands‑on mechanical work, maintenance, and customer interaction at sites primarily in the Netherlands.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical support, maintenance and overhauls for electro‑mechanical and electro‑hydraulic systems.
• Represent Moog with customers, ensuring strong relationships and identifying commercial opportunities.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and implement solutions, often collaborating with the sales team.
• Document service activities and manage configuration control for the global installed base.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or MBO) with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel frequently (up to 80% of the time) and work extended hours, including weekends.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Electrical engineering knowledge.
• Experience with electro‑mechanical and electro‑hydraulic technologies.
• Familiarity with mechatronic systems and related software tools.
• Use of service applications and configuration databases.
