Finance Director – Airport Operations

About the role

The Finance Director leads all financial operations, governance and reporting for dnata Airport Operations in the Netherlands. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role provides strategic financial advice and ensures the integrity, compliance and insight needed for effective decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted financial partner to the Managing Director, Executive Team and Group Finance.
• Translate business strategy into executable financial strategies and long‑range plans.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning and financial modelling.
• Ensure timely, accurate management reporting, statutory compliance and financial transparency.
• Maintain strong internal controls, audit readiness and compliance with local statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee CAPEX governance, investment appraisal and disciplined capital allocation.
• Drive working‑capital performance, including DSO, DPO, liquidity and cash management.
• Oversee invoicing, revenue assurance, billing accuracy and collection efficiency.
• Provide financial insights that support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance leadership within a complex, multi‑site environment.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of statutory, tax and regulatory compliance in the Netherlands.
• Track record of implementing finance transformation and process excellence.
