Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Financial Controller to lead month‑end closings, drive our ERP implementation and support the CFO in a fast‑growing, high‑tech solar‑simulation company. The role is based in ’s‑Gravenhage and will work closely with finance teams across ten international entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and streamline month‑end and annual closing processes, including intercompany accounting, eliminations and group consolidation for ten entities (NL, DE, US, CN, IN).
• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and oversee the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Serve as the lead Key User for the new ERP system, designing efficient workflows and guiding the organisation through the transition.
• Monitor cash flow, forecast liquidity and optimise working‑capital management across entities.
• Mentor and coach the three‑person finance team, providing guidance on daily operations and process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial control, audit or accounting within an international environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for process optimisation and system implementation.
• Fluent English; German is a strong plus. Ability to work on‑site in The Hague.
